Most schools go live in about four weeks: data migration in week one, configuration in week two, staff training in week three and the parent rollout in week four. Your implementation lead agrees the dates with you at kickoff.
A current student list, this term’s fee schedule, outstanding balances, guardian phone numbers, and one person who can sign off configuration decisions. Spreadsheets in any format are fine.
Every school gets a named implementation lead who handles migration, configuration and training, and stays your main contact until you are live.
It is possible. Most schools prefer to go live at the start of a term, but balances can be imported as they stand and modules phased in. Your implementation lead will recommend an order.
Signing in & accounts
Staff sign in with the email address the school registered for them, at the web address your implementation lead shares during setup. Everyone has their own account — please do not share logins, because the audit log records who did what.
Parents receive an invitation by SMS or WhatsApp with a direct link and sign in with their phone number. No app store download is needed.
Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen to receive a reset link. If you no longer have access to the email or phone number on your account, ask your school administrator to update it.
An administrator creates accounts and assigns roles. When someone leaves, deactivate their account rather than deleting it, so their history stays in the audit log.
Fees & payments
Fee structures are set per class and arm, built from fee items such as tuition, levies and optional extras. Sibling, staff or custom discounts are applied before the invoice is issued.
Yes. Invoices accept part-payments, the balance updates immediately, and anything left at the end of term can be carried forward as arrears.
Cash is recorded at the desk against the invoice, which issues a numbered receipt immediately and updates the balance. The daily close shows cash, transfer and Paystack side by side.
Bank transfers are matched to an invoice by the bursary. Ask the parent for the date, amount and narration, find the credit on the bank statement, then record it against the right invoice — the receipt is issued automatically.
Corrections are recorded as new entries with a reason attached rather than by editing history, so the ledger and the audit trail always agree.
Parent portal
Each guardian sees their own children only: invoices, balances, receipts, published results, attendance and school notices.
No. The portal opens in any mobile browser and is built to stay light on 3G. Invitations go out by SMS or WhatsApp with a direct link, and parents sign in with their phone number.
All their children appear under one login, each with their own balance, results and receipts. Payments can be made for any of them.
The school office updates the guardian’s phone number on the student record, and the parent signs in with the new number from then on.
Results & report cards
Yes. Grading bands, subject weightings and the report card layout are set to match the format your school already issues.
Teachers enter CA and exam scores for the classes and subjects assigned to them. Totals and grades calculate automatically from your assessment scheme.
Only when the school publishes them. You can review every class before release and publish to all parents at once.
Students are promoted, repeated or graduated in bulk at session close, and their full history moves with them.
Roles, security & data
Fee visibility follows role permissions. Proprietors and bursars work with the money, teachers do not see fees, and parents see only their own children.
Records are encrypted in transit and at rest and handled in line with Nigeria’s data protection requirements. Every change is attributed in the audit log.
Yes, at any time. Your records belong to your school.
Every fee adjustment, score change and permission grant is written to the audit log with the person and time attached.
Website & social media services
No — website support and social media management are optional add-ons. You can add or pause them at the start of any term.
They are designed to work alongside the platform — for example, linking your website straight into the parent portal — but ask us if you only need website or social support.
A point of contact, your school calendar, and photos or videos from events. We plan a content calendar with you and agree how posts are approved before anything goes live.
Yes. A new design or full rebuild is quoted separately, then moves onto monthly website support once it is live.
Your school does. We work on domains and accounts registered to the school and hand everything over if you ever stop the service.
